Conecah County Sausage
cooked in the
Microwave
It's so simple to pop some sausage
into the microwave while your
preparing the rest of your meal.
We like the smaller Conecah County Sausage, but this method should work for most sausages, you will have to adjust the time for larger sausage.
I tear off a piece of paper towel that is 2x longer than my plate.
cover the plate with half of towel.
Cut sausage into 2-3 inch pieces or as equal as possible. arrange the sausage in a circle, if you have any shorter pieces place them in the center. (The center cooks slower)
Cover with the rest of paper towel.flip the sausage over and rotate the end that was to the outside of the plate toward the middle of plate.
continue to cook for 1-2 more minutes.
If some of the sausage looks done remove to serving plate.
Re-arrange sausage and cover with paper towel and continue to cook. use your judgement, may need 30 seconds or a minute.
After the sausage shrivels it doesn't take long to overcook, it will get hard as a rock.
